Theorem version 1.1.0 introduces a batch of new features that make the synth more flexible, and more connected to the rest of your setup. Here’s what’s new.
New Features
Mono Mode
Theorem now comes with a Mono mode. When enabled, only one voice plays at a time. It also has a new Slide Time parameter that controls the portamento slide time between consecutive notes.
Velocity Knob
A new Velocity knob lets you control how much the velocity of incoming MIDI notes affects the volume of each voice. At the minimum position, every note hits at the same level, and at the maximum position, the note volume is entirely determined by how hard you hit the key.
Master Tuning
The new Master Tuning knob lets you shift Theorem’s base tuning so you can match orchestras tuned to 432 Hz, 443 Hz, or anything else.
Waveform Export
When you click Save Preset, you now have the option to export your waveform as a .wav file you can import into other synths like Vital or Serum.
New Presets
Two new factory presets have been added to the collection: Trumpet and Cactus Sawtooth.
Get the Update
Theorem 1.1.0 is available now. If you already own Theorem, you will be prompted to download the update the next time you open the plugin (only if you have unlocked it). Otherwise, you can purchase Theorem here.
