ENS-86 is a vintage chorus plugin built to recreate the warm modulation of classic analog bucket-brigade circuits. It keeps that same sound but ditches the fixed-preset limitations often found in the legendary 80s synths, giving you full control of its parameters.
The main parameters
Rate
The Rate knob controls how fast the modulation moves, from a slow 0.1Hz crawl to a fast 12Hz flutter. Slow rates give you that classic chorus sway, while fast rates push into vibrato territory.
Depth
Depth sets the intensity of the modulation. Turn it up for a dramatic sweep, or keep it low for subtle thickness.
Phase
The phase knob sets the phase offset between the left and right LFOs. At 0°, both channels are modulated together, while at 180°, they move in opposite directions, opening up a huge stereo spread.
Width
Width controls the stereo spread of the output using Mid/Side processing, independently of the modulation itself. Dial it down to 0% to collapse everything to mono, and push it past 100% up to 200% to stretch the effect wider.
The mixing controls
The dry and wet sliders give you precise control over your blend: Dry adjusts the volume of the unprocessed signal, while Wet adjusts the volume of the chorused signal.
Run both at full for a rich chorus effect, or pull the dry down to get a vibrato effect.

Preset Panel
Use the left and right arrows to step through the factory presets, including hardware-inspired patches like the modes I, II, and I+II. Click the combobox in the middle to open the full list.
Found a setting you love? Use the Save and Load buttons to store your own presets to disk.
Master Volume
The Master knob trims your overall output level down to -60.0 dB. Use it to compensate for any level changes the chorus effect introduces before it gets out of the plugin.
