How to install Relica on Windows

Installing plugins can sometimes be a daunting task, but with the right instructions, it becomes much simpler.

This article will walk you through the process of installing Relica on a Windows system.

Downloading the plugin

Start off by downloading the plugin on this page.

Once you’ve downloaded the .zip file, extract it, and you should get a folder looking like this:

Installing the VST3 plugin

Go into the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\ and copy the Relica.vst3 folder in it. Doing this will allow your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) to recognise your plugin and allow you to do this.

Installing the standalone plugin

Next, go into the folder C:\Program Files\Hivetune\Relica\ and copy the Relica.exe file in it. Note that some folders might not exist yet, you’ll probably need to create them. This installs the version of Relica that you’ll be able to launch even without a DAW.

Installing the presets

Finally, the plugin comes with some factory presets, and you need to copy them from the Presets folder in the folder you downloaded to the same folder as your executable: in C:\Program Files\Hivetune\Relica\. Once you’re done, the folder should look like this:

After following these steps, Relica should be successfully installed on your Windows system. You can now open the software and start using it! Have fun!
